Google has launched a new social media platform which will rival the likes of Facebook and Twitter. Google Buzz is geared to ‘integrate social sharing with email’; product manager for Gmail and Google Buzz Todd Jackson wrote on the official blog that the tool is available for use on conventional computers as well as mobiles.

Intermedia Solutions and Winkball are currently developing an interfacing platform, which will be geared towards corporates as an alternative internal comms platform.
