Congratulations to Breast Cancer Campaign

Hello

We hope that 2011 finds you well and busy. For us January and February have disappeared in a blur of activity. Last year, we asked you to get involved in nominating where to donate money instead of sending you festive trinkets. Thank you all for a staggering response. Several hundred votes later, the overwhelming majority of you opted to get behind supporting the Breast Cancer Campaign. So we’ll be sending the cash off to them shortly.

We’re really looking forward to working with you all over the next year. Ben is keen to draw your attention to one of our enhanced services for 2011 – photography. You can find out more by clicking the following link www.intermediasolutions.com/photography.

In the meantime, James and Mark are offering their annual key account reviews to combine your plans for the year ahead with our ideas. We’ll be in touch to say ‘hi’ but if you want to jump the queue, just give us a call or drop us a line.

Thanks again

Rob & the rest of the Intermedia family

Client quotes

Mark’s favourite client quote ever, received today! “I don’t know whether to thank you or kick you.”

Vote for your favourite charity

As we come towards the end of the year, we thought it would be appropriate to get in touch to say thank you for working with us. For many, it has been a difficult year – but we can look back with great pleasure at the good collaborative work we’ve done, and the strong working relationships we’ve built with customers and partners, all of whom we really like doing business with.

We generally try to come up with a small token or gift to show you our appreciation. Some of your feedback has suggested that these tend just to clutter up your desk.

So, this year we’re going to do something a little different. We’re proposing to use the money we might have spent on corporate gifts, and donate it to charity.

These charities are important to us – and we would like you to help us in the decision making process so that you’re involved. Vote for your favourite charity from above by clicking their logo, or alternatively propose one of your own, by replying to this email.

Our office will be closed from 17:00 on 24th December until 08:30 on 4th January. We’ll be back in touch early in the New Year to let you know where the money has gone, but in the meantime, we’d like to wish you all a pleasant festive break, and close by saying how much we are looking forward to continuing to work with you next year.

Many thanks

Mark & the rest of the Intermedia family

Back to school

Intermedia are going ‘back to school’ to help a local secondary school achieve Unicef’s ‘Rights Respecting Schools’ accreditation. We’re keen to see if some of principles big companies use to achieve cultural and behavioural change work with children in the same way. It’s a great opportunity to use engagement and involvement theory on Generation Z! And best of all, it’s all for free.

The uber cool uberkitchens.eu goes live

We’re pleased to have helped out our friends at über kitchens. They’ve now got a website that’s as good as their product.

Creative Review Photography Annual 2010

As we’re developing our in-house photography section, we thought it might be nice to enter the Creative Review Annual Photography competition. We have some great concepts, and will be submitting our best to the Personal/Non-Published category.

The closing date is the 16th July. Fingers crossed!

We’re proud to welcome…

a global sports brand as a new customer. We’d like to tell you more, but we’re working under a non-disclosure agreement. This is something we do for a number of clients to protect sensitive and or highly commercial information. We’ve loved every minute of working with a fab brand and a great team. Warning, this blog post will now self-destruct.

Staff recognition

Today we’ve just completed a satisfying piece of recognition branding for a large UK retailer. For most of us, there’s little time to say ‘thanks’. We hope our work might allow people to show their gratitude for colleagues and spread a bit of happiness. Small and simple things often mean a lot.

Conferences

We’re currently working on an exciting new conference format.

Last week we had a great day with a possible partner. Their technology and our ideas might well combine to create something that’s never been done before.

In addition to supporting events by providing facilitation and content, we’re looking at adding some new technology (we’re talking more than just tablets) and delivering the day via a whole new vehicle. Watch this space.
